Eileen Reed is a consulting economist specializing in applied microeconomics and financial analysis of antitrust, health care, regulatory, and general business issues. Working in both Brussels and the US, she has extensive experience in managing complex projects, litigation, and merger reviews from their inception to completion.
At the Federal Trade Commission, she conducted analyses of the energy industry contributing to several publications concerning oil industry mergers and pipeline ownership issues. She also participated in pre-merger reviews and merger investigations. She has designed research and analytical approaches, undertaken budgeting, monitored progress and prepared testimony and affidavits on economic and public policy issues. More recently, Ms. Reed has helped European clients participate and expand in US and European markets and has advised in the area of merger and antitrust policy and compliance.
Experience in the Health Care Sector Industries has included merger reviews and market studies in pharmaceuticals; hospital and physician services; and insurance and health care financing. In addition, she has contributed articles to several health care newsletter publications on various health care antitrust subjects.
